• Hillary Clinton Disgraces America

Here is your Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, who as Secretary is America’s top diplomat. She practices diplomacy, which in one sense as been defined as “the employment of tact to gain strategic advantage or to find mutually acceptable solutions to a common challenge, one set of tools being the phrasing of statements in a non-confrontational, or polite manner.”

Now, here is our diplomat talking about the death of Qaddafi. She says “we came, we saw, he died” and then laughs about that with some robo journalist.

If the video is not embedded, try here.

For all those who write in complaining that I am at times crude or offensive, chortling over anyone’s death is a disgrace. What’s next, displaying the skulls of our enemies in the Foggy Bottom lobby? Oh my god America, what have we become?

And if you are among those leaving negative comments for me, here’s more war porn video to get off on.

Lastly, by overwhelming popular demand, I have toned down the language in this posting. The comments below may refer to an earlier version which used considerably more naughty language. I still pretty much feel that way, but understand I don’t always need to write down exactly the words in my head.

Man, you’ve got to dial down the PTSD a little bit…you are only giving ammunition to your enemies.

So many of your comments about State are spot on but don’t fall into their trap…

I second what John said. Love and support all the way for you; understand your rage, but chillax on the vulgarity.

This video is shocking enough on its own.

Hillary’s comment strikes me as inappropriate. But that is no reason for youur additional vulgarity. Why not just say it is inappropriate and that any civilized nation would expect that a dictator who committed the crimes against humanity that he did should have been caaptured and called to account in a civilized proceeding. The shocking video is very scary and does not bode well for the future of Libya.

You’re asking HIM to chill on the vulgarity?

Hillary, may you rot in Hell. You make Emperor Caligula look decent.

The point of the vulgarity is to shock and offend, but to do so in a way that places my vulgarity against Hillary’s.

Really, is my flippant use of obscenity more shocking than the Secretary of State laughing about the murder of a former head of state, however vile a man?

Which is more offensive, my obscenity, or hers?

      That is my point.

“Chortling over anyone’s death is a disgrace, though we all may now smile a bit at yours.”

Is this the RedState blog? Not that she wasn’t creepy, and seemed to be channeling Dick Cheney right there, but it is not as if she pulled the trigger on Qadafi’s golden gun herself. We helped rebels put down the asshole reponsible for the Lockerbie bombing, the only problem I have is that it took so fucking long.

And I chortled happily when the news of UBL’s death was released, I guess I just don’t like violent terrorists. But you keep whining about Hillary, way to keep things in perspective there.

      Luke, it’s a trap.

What type of person might encourage the calm, witty, knowledgeable Van Buren to lash out, vindicating the creepy DS letter that questioned his judgement, among other reasons for lifting his clearance?

Well, maybe your basic nihilist doofus type, convinced that “you can’t make an omelette without breaking eggs.” With Van Buren as the broken egg of course, not them.

Or maybe people like poster Saigo Takamori, the type of lost soul who joins the Foreign Service like joining a cult, unquestioning, furious at anyone with the personal ethics to challenge the damage and folly.

Yep, I could see “Florence of Arabia” and his ilk trying to play Van Buren out like this.

Be careful. The majority supports you.

I personally thought the strong language was hilarious and perfect.

Unfortunately, video like this does speak for itself, but not loudly enough. Sometimes assanine/ridiculous behavior needs to be treated as such.
