The United States remains the world’s largest exporter of weapons.

The Middle East and North Africa are among America’s most lucrative arms markets, and U.S. defense companies and contractors have opened local offices as the demand shows no sign of abating.

I sat down with VICE News to discuss the (lack of) controls on U.S. arms exports. The focus is on how arms sales were built into our war efforts in Iraq, and how the “controls” on selling weapons to regimes that violate human rights are bypassed via a compliant State Department.

One highlight of this documentary is VICE News traveling to the International Defense Exhibition and Conference in the United Arab Emirates capital of Abu Dhabi, to examine the competition between arms manufacturers vying for a greater portion of the lucrative market.

The USA as the largest exporter of defensive weapons? We know these are really offensive weapons since the best defense is a good offense-right? This grim video doesn’t offer any hope that our species can evolve past a fetish for killing implements.

The United States remains the world’s largest exporter of government sexcriminals too –

An Atlanta-area resident and employee of the U.S. Department of State is behind bars after investigators say he used compromising photos of teenage girls to blackmail them into providing him with more sexual material.

According to WSB-TV, Michael C. Ford was arrested at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and now faces charges of interstate threats, computer fraud, wire fraud, and cyberstalking. Ford has a home in Alpharetta, but has worked at the U.S. Embassy in London since 2009.

Investigators with the Department of State believe Ford used government computers at the embassy to carry out his “sextortion” scheme. According to the investigators, Ford obtained contact information of young women applying to various colleges, then blackmailed them with their own sexually explicit photos. WSB-TV reports that Ford demanded one of his victims record video of women changing clothes.

Why are these companies allowed to label their exported product as “defensive” weapons? I guess after the Department of War became the Department of Defense and no one blinked. Look at those jerks fondling weapons and looking like Peeping Toms at attack helicopters.

Yeah, well some weapons don’t even have to be exported.

Of course, we already knew it. This is just the icing on the cake.

Meanwhile, the psychopaths do everything in their power to keep the rubes from discovering their own governments are run by..well..psychopathic war criminals.

On a side note…as some of you may have noticed, I’ve been “absent” from the scene for a few days. Had to drive a 400 mile round trip to Ann Arbor Michigan, home of the University of Michigan’s mind boggling futuristic hospital and state of the art “assembly line” surgery facility, where I underwent a small surgery. Absolutely mind boggling.

Assembly line surgery. I was one of the 90 patients being treated that day alone. I was stunned. Not that it was bad, just eye opening. But something else happened that was just as eye opening.

While waiting in the area where you are finally called into the surgery unit, a young male dressed in those typical green doctors uniforms, approached me, and asked if i minded him to solicit my written permission, for “researchers” to have access to my medical records and biometric data, in order to facilitate widespread research into various medical mysteries. As he was explaining how my data will help advancement of medical knowledge, I stopped him and said..”Yes, I’ll sign the acceptance sheet on one condition. If you will sign a document guaranteeing me that under no circumstances, will any of my data be allowed to enter a government database.”

He looked at me in amazement, as if I had just became a traitor. He responded that he could not do that, as the actual “research” was being funded by the USG and any data would enter a government “biometric” data base. At that point, he tried to overcome my objection by trying to shame me into signing, to which i responded… “get the fuck outta my face you little government snitch”. To which he stood up in absolute horror, as everyone in the entire waiting room was also being “solicited” by other scumbag informants masquerading as “medical research associates”. No sooner than I made a scene, other people began to refuse to sign. At which point, the entire bunch of these scumbags simply packed up their papers and left the area.

Never underestimate the depths to which our stinking government will go to gather more information for our dossiers. Big brother is a massive understatement. Assembly line data gathering. youbetcha. Fucking assholes.

      Ok..carry on.

You beat me to it and thanks for pointing out that the government has access to ALL of our medical records….in addition to our phone calls, banking records, and every time you use a plastic card–yup! The gov’t has a record of it.

Relocating to un-disclosed cave has never looked so good!

Damn, good for you, Pitch! And it is telling how much impact one person can have. It sounds like your stance made a bunch of other people suddenly a little braver an maybe just a little smarter.

      Way to go, man. Totally.

      PS: Hope you are well.

      Why are we rearming Iraq?

Sen. Jim Inhofe, R-Okla.in an interview on Friday with radio station KTOK in Oklahoma City, argued “countries like North Korea, Iran, Iraq, Syria, all of them are on the path to getting bombs and delivery systems that would reach the United States of America and could have the effect of killing everyone who is listening now.”
