    Meanwhile, over at the US Embassy Baghdad website, the news is all good, with these top items:

    We congratulate Iraq’s Council of Representatives on its historic decision to nominate the first members of the Iraqi Commission for Human Rights.

    U.S. Embassy Spokesman, Michael McClellan, stated, “U.S. policy on supporting the unity of Iraq, as anchored in numerous UN resolutions and U.S. policy statements, is unwavering.”
