A State Department Diplomatic Security employee with high-level access to government IT and security resources was arrested in Broward County, Florida on a federal charges of possessing child pornography.

FBI agents took Peter Meyers, 53, pictured, into custody. Law enforcement officials stated they found 50 video files and eight image files depicting child pornography on Meyers’ computers and laptops. Meyers was making the videos and images available to pedophiles worldwide via file-sharing networks.

Some of the files were named “Bedtime Rape” and “Camping Tent Incest” and showed girls and boys, including toddlers and children as young six and nine years old, being sexually abused. Meyers said the computers were for personal use, agents said.

Investigators said he came to their attention in February when they identified an Internet address in Broward County that was sharing computer files depicting the sexual abuse and exploitation of underage children.

According to his Facebook and LinkedIn pages, Meyers has worked as a security technical specialist for the U.S. Department of State since 2003. His work duties included testing security systems, assisting in the technical aspects of criminal investigations and traveling to overseas embassies and consulates, according to his online resume.

A State Department spokesperson said “The employee’s security clearance will be suspended and he will be put on administrative leave while this proceeds through any judicial process.

Remember Peter- there are normal and hard working DS agents who made that arrest. They did it correctly and successfully- he didn’t slip out of their carefully planned dragnet.
They also had to throw up after being shown the photos of sexually assaulted children and then go home to their wives and children. Many DS agents in investigation see and know about stuff that has changed them for life.

The memo sites eight cases involving Diplomatic Security agents who resort to “false, misleading or incomplete statements in reports,” “privacy-act violations” or “lack of objectivity” in investigations.

Cary Schulman, lawyer for former IG investigator-turned-whistleblower Aurelia Fedenisn, said Diplomatic Security agents are “wrongfully overly pursuing some people” but letting other have a “free pass”.

There is a reason State doesn’t polygraph its employees. DS would have to close.

I have to say, when I first joined here, I knew nothing about the DOS. Now I understand what DOS truly is. DOS is an euphemism for Department of Stupidity.

I believe the government is developing hand held weapons that will geld any rural militant’s prized AR15’s capability very quickly.. Trying to match the firepower of the state is pointless. The 2nd amendment is meaningless since it doesn’t and can’t give the citizens the right of MATCHING arms.

Developing? Maybe. However, they already have many, including Drones. Unfortunately, how do you account for the fact they haven’t won a war since WW11, hmmmm? I’ll tell you. 4th generation warfare, that’s why. Not only that, given there are 300 million gun owners, if and when the government ever steps across a Waco type line again, numbers count.

That doesn’t mean I advocate it. It only means not everyone will let the government kill them. They’ll shoot back.

Furthermore, if push came to shove, not all military will shoot their fellow citizens. YOU just aren’t familiar with the gun rights movement. I am. And it is growing by the day.

Pitch- we differ and we should let it go. There are plenty of government security employees who would gleefully want to murder their “fellow” citizens. I ‘m sure they didn’t have a hard time finding guys to torture and disappear others of the same species. So It won’t be your average blue light guy with his tricked out black SUV being asked to put down a possible rebellion. It will be some reay nasty special ops types with vasly superior firepower. Defense of the homeland won’t involve regular cops or police or even regular military. That is my speculation. We differ I know.

By homeland defense I mean the troops that discreetly work for the ruling elite. They love their jobs. They are natural born killers and appreciate being given the opportunity to kill by Cheney types. They are the sniper types who don’t care who they draw a bead on- just as long as it has a human form.

ps..I also forgot to thank the Pentagon for supplying military grade weapons and vehicles across America. Once in Patriots hands, either by law enforcement officials surrendering them by virtue of belonging to Oath Keeper’s, or the oath of office, merely refusing to fire on their fellow citizens, or capture via 4th gen techniques, slowly the tide of weaponry capability will gather in lethal capacity.
