    …And America!

We forget too quickly, and flirt from issue to issue. If you think that as it applies to the lion also has parallels to the Syrian refugee boy, yep, that’s what I’m doing here.

Remember back, oh, all of about six weeks ago? We as a nation recoiled in horror at the image of Cecil the Lion, killed by an American dentist, washing ashore next to that Syrian refugee boy on the beach, sparking a global outrage.

There would be an extradition, so the dentist (what the hell was his name? Cecil?) would face justice. People blew up Yelp! with really clever comments about taking their dental business elsewhere and bankrupting the dentist in a kind of people’s revenge. People blew up Twitter with really clever comments like “Feed the dentist to the lions!” and the U.S. government was going to investigate so many bad things. We were gonna put a stop to the global trade in trophy animals, dammit.

Anyway, we got distracted by some other thing, forgot what, and now the dentists said he’d just be back at work within days, appointments already scheduled.

Walter Palmer (oh, right that was his name, get him confused with the Breaking Bad guy, man, that was a great show, I’m binge watching it this weekend, oh wait, the blog post, sorry), who has spent more than a month out of sight after becoming the target of protests and threats, intends to return to his suburban Minneapolis dental practice Tuesday. In an evening interview that advisers said would be the only one granted, Palmer said again that he believes he acted legally and that he was stunned to find out his hunting party had killed one of Zimbabwe’s treasured animals.

Palmer shut off several lines of inquiry about the hunt, including how much he paid for it or others he has undertaken. No videotaping or photographing of the interview was allowed. During the 25-minute interview, Palmer gazed intensely at his questioners, often fiddling with his hands and turning occasionally to an adviser, Joe Friedberg, to field questions about the fallout and his legal situation.

Some high-level Zimbabwean officials had called for Palmer’s extradition, but no formal steps toward getting the dentist to return to Zimbabwe have been taken. Friedberg, a Minneapolis attorney who said he is acting as an unpaid consultant to Palmer, said he has heard nothing from authorities about domestic or international investigations.

Friedberg said he offered to have Palmer take questions from U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service authorities on the condition the session be recorded. He said he never heard back.

In addition to the Cecil furor, Palmer pleaded guilty in 2008 to making false statements to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service about a black bear he fatally shot in western Wisconsin outside of the authorized hunting zone. He was given one year probation and fined nearly $3,000 as part of a plea agreement.

    We suck.

Suck what? er…don’t answer that. But yeah, Murican’s do suck. All except me. I don’t suck. I blow. And I fart. And I burp. And I cough. And I sneeze. But I don’t suck. Unless I suck on a straw. Then I suck. But not like Murika sucks. Now that we have that outta the way….

      🙂

      Ok, time for serious. SHEEZUSHFUCKINGCHRIST.

Someone please. Show me. Show me where in the 2nd Amendment it says we have a right to KILL ANIMALS. Or people, even if they ARE animals. From what I’ve read, the 2nd A only says we have a right to “keep and bear arms” It doesn’t say we have a right to kill bears. Or lions. Or any other goddamned animal…even if they work for the USG.
I mean, here in Michigan, they sold 775 THOUSAND hunting permits last year. Can you imagine..even a third of those hunters running around the forest shooting at things?? sheeezusHchrist indeed….(rolling eyes)

Ok, now that we have that outta the way…

Like I keep replying to supporters in comments… yeah, you think a person who’s religion should be able to refuse to do their job., based on their religion? Well wait till a MUSLIM becomes a county clerk. I bet you’ll be up in arms!! Fucking unbelievable. I hope the judge keeps her in jail until she resigns.

ok…end of rant. Except.. the Syrian boy makes me sick to my stomach. The thought, that a Assaud has litterally forced a million people to leave their country..makes me so godddamned mad I could fucking scream. Thing is though..now that they’ve left..let’s bomb that motherfucker to Allah and back. Level that fucking piece of shit country.

The child’s mother and brother drowned with him … AND their grief-stricken father remains in Syria. Mirror time again – ISIS : US (CIA) and it Is WE who are serially PNAC Attacking the Syrians (Iran’s next) and driving them from THEIR nations and into refugee emigration.

Bruce: Remove Assad and Syria joins Libya and Iraq plus the Russians wouldn’t back such a plan- let alone Iran. Big Time Geopolitics at play now and that means many Syrian folk are doomed to suffer and die. Could something like what is happening in Syria today happen in the USA? Probably not and that is why there is little interest in regular Syrian folk. In BLACK SUNDAY an oppressed group knew the only way to make the USA relate was to kill 80K Super Bowl attendees. Only then could regular Americans imagine the suffering of people in far off lands and how we contribute to their suffering.

Um, “Pitch”, you seem like a sane, albeit, hyperbolic person. You’re endorsing US regime change in Syria? Really? Because it worked out so well in Iraq and Libya? Assad’s regime is the only thing that keeps ISIS and the Al Nusra Front from taking over.

Why do people care about this damn lion so much? I don’t get it. How about interviewing Bush about his own crimes?

Avery- The dentist and Bush are similar male types. Each has their own way to strut their manhood. One hunts wild and fearsome animals-the other puts on a flight jacket and lands on a flight deck and wages war against other humans. Most males I will assume on this site are not either type.
I salute the type of manhood which paddles into the face of a 25 footer at Waimea.

Pitch, so far people are citing the war or the radical groups as reasons for fleeing Syria. Yeah, Assad jr is no saint but please remind me why our taxpayer-monies are going to support an affiliate of Al Qaeda, al Nusra?? Those of us from NYC havent forgotten AL Qaeda’s crimes nor will we

Well, hyperbolically speaking, I’m endorsing nothing but stopping the decades long destruction of peoples homes and lives. Be it by the US, or whoever, what i see is millions of human beings being forced to flee their homelands, or die trying because of war. To me, Assad is as much a psychopath as Obama, Netanyahu and every other leader in the ME. As for US regime change…YOUBETCHA! And elections ain’t gonna do it. Until the LORDS OF WAR are stopped.. this world is on a path to mutual annihilation. And THAT pisses me off. 🙂

quote”Assad’s regime is the only thing that keeps ISIS and the Al Nusra Front from taking over.”unquote

Then tell me why the US is trying to keep Russia from helping Assad, if ISIS is the enemy, hmmm? Given the roots of ISIS were created by the CIA, this tells me something. Like..wait for it… the US REGIME DOESN’T WANT WAR TO STOP? AFTER ALL..IT’S WHAT WE DO. THE LORDS OF WAR IS OUR LARGEST EMPLOYER. DEFENSE? HA. That’s rich.

anyway, I’m tired of the world. bartender..yeah, you know what to do. And turn on teh tv.

Seems to have to do with rival oil and gas pipeline schemes. The US and RUssia favour differing pipeline routes, with the Gulf countries, Israel and us on one side, the RUssians and Syrians on the other –plus the neocons seem to have been gunning for Syria since before the 2003 invasion of Iraq

Short answer….cause taxpayers have no say where their taxes are spent. Of course..you can always refute the 16th Amendment by refusing to pay them.

Long answer, the Lords of War are supporting BOTH sides.

My answer… the fiction known as Al Qaeda is simply a CIA data base. The leader of ISIS knew it too. He just renamed one of the folders.

now..where was I..oh yeah, bartender, another bottle of FalseFlag please…
