Clinton Says She Was ‘Unaware’ She Was Sending Classified Material on Email Server
She never, through the year and a half that the email saga played out, claimed she did not realize she was transmitting highly classified government secrets through her private email server. Until now.
A quick recap of Clinton’s explanations about all that classified material on her personal email server, because she has a couple of new ones now.
— For six some years she hid the fact that she used a personal email server at all;
— When first outed, she said unambiguously there was no classified at all;
— After the first reports that highly classified data was sent and received, she changed her line to “nothing marked classified.”
Now that the FBI has declined prosecution stating Clinton had no “intent” to send and receive all sorts of classified data, marked and unmarked, Hillary has adopted a brand new excuse: why, golly gosh, she just didn’t know it was classified! She is also throwing some of her staff under the bus for good measure.
On Friday, Clinton said she did not realize she was transmitting highly classified government secrets through her private email server while U.S. secretary of state.
Instead, Clinton shifted the blame onto her former colleagues at the State Department, saying in television interviews she followed their lead on whether or not information was classified. “They, I believe, did not believe they were sending any material that was classified, they were pursuing their responsibilities,” she said in an interview with MSNBC.
She did not address the findings by the Federal Bureau of Investigation that she herself sent information on topics classified at the highest levels of classification.
Her newest excuse is obviously tailored to match what the FBI said. It holds no water.First of course is that with her decades of government experience, it is expected that Clinton would know highly classified data from unclassified. Some of the documents that passed through her server were at the Top Secret/Special Access Program level, and appear to have discussed information obtained via satellite spying on North Korea. Others discussed the names of CIA officials, including at least one who was undercover as a Defense Attache abroad. Some documents were clearly marked classified as Clinton saw them on her Blackberry.
You may not have had a clearance for decades like Hillary, but it seems even a lay person would know that is not run-of-the-mill stuff. At the very least, you might have asked someone to check into it. Clinton’s newest excuse, essentially an ignorance defense, seems a weak qualification for the presidency.
In addition, by statute, Clinton was the senior classification officer for the Department of State. Of course most of that job was delegated, but delegation does not remove responsibility. Indeed, as president she will delegate most of her work, and blaming problems on underlings is a clear sign of poor leader.
I know, I know, you’ll vote for her anyway.

Until it gets rid of presidential pardons we’ll have Hillary and her ilk finding ways to shift the blame to staff who if prosecuted and convicted will have been promised a pardon and then a cushy position below the radar of public scrutiny. It is a way the ruling elite guarantees loyalty and to insure “no snitchin'”. Eliminating presidential pardons would make it harder for the ruling elite to find and employ loyal goons.
Cheryl Mills seems (only guessing here) to be a case where one jettisons personal morals to move from the fields into the manor. And we’ve been told America ended slavery. Yeah, sure!

5Not sure everyone will vote for her. Her poll numbers took a sharp dive during the past couple of days, and right now she is only ahead of Trump by 3 points. The poll numbers will go up and down and by election day will probably be meaningless, but it is clear that the Comey/Lynch/no indictment email thingie has cost Clinton a lot. At least for now.

She’s pretty much guaranteed to win this “contest”, however, since, well, you know, Trump? Seriously? And voting machines. And money. And promises made back in ’08. Not many people will like it, though.
Hey, on the positive side, she’ll get the rap instead of Bernie for the economy continuing to rot, the environmental disasters looming ahead, the TTP, and the next iteration of the Long Wars. Hope she enjoys the hell out of being in the WH again; couldn’t happen to a more deserving person.

8Polls say that many Americans do not want Clinton nor Trump as POTUS because of trust issues so why isn’t Bernie throwing in with The Green Party? Maybe he is truly terrified that he may actually be in a position of a lifetime to radically change things instead of bringing faux reform via wrangling some concessions from the elite via Clinton. This election cycle may be the best and last time a third party could shake up the duopoly.

She won’t have to use gunpoint. I believe that when the election comes, they don’t care if only 5 to 10% of the electorate actually votes; they will declare a victory for Clinton. A lot of young people, Bernie supporters of all ages, and independents won’t vote at all. It’ll be diehard Clinton voters showing up by themselves. But the PTB don’t even care if everyone knows how it’s rigged and complains and brings lawsuits, just as they don’t care right now in the primaries; by the time they get through all the evidence [that is, whatever hasn’t been erased immediately after the results are announced], she’ll have already been in office for several years.
I still say that Trump doesn’t really want to be president and is deliberately trying to push people toward Clinton. I also still maintain that something unexpected may delay or prevent the election altogether.
Expect the unexpected, all bets are off, etc.

ASSUMING Donald wants to be presidense, he can make a deal with his good buddy Putin to give him Hillary’s deleted emails and blackmail Hillary on the Clinton Foundation scandals, forcing her to quit the race because of her “health” problems or make her do whatever Putin wants after she is elected,(e.g. the US drops Ukraine like a hot potato). Trump, who has been declaring false profits for years, then is elected in 2020 on a platform to work with the Big AC Putin for “World Peace.”

19Bauer- I’m lovin’ it more than a Big Mac! I had a dream circa 1985 that every candidate would be always running against the non existent non voter candidate. This non voting group would automatically garner all the slackers who never even register. That would only be fair since the Democrats automatically get most of the black vote by faking compassion for blacks. If one did not beat the number of “potential” non voters the office would remain unfilled. No matter, Hillary will declare a mandate win with perhaps only 16% of the American public voting for her.
Regarding Putin. Vicky Nuland and Hillary see themselves as global deciders. Putin doesn’t want a nuclear exchange That puts him at a disadvantage. Ironical isn’t it. The Evil Empire acting responsibly while our God fearing Christian America lusts for a nuclear dust up.

Then he promised to “take it to the convention”. His endorsement yesterday may have fulfilled his promise to Clinton (to endorse the nominee), although a BIG note must be made of the fact that officially, she is not the nominee as neither of them has enough pledged delegates, and that the convention has not yet taken place – which is where the nominee is actually named through the delegate vote.
In any case, he fulfilled the promise to the DNC, but not the one to the voters.
At one point during the primaries, he said Clinton was “not qualified to be president”. He endorsed her nonetheless.
He promised to work to make the DNC platform more “progressive”, then got pretty much nothing in the way of concessions, then proceeded to call the thing the “most progressive ever” despite all evidence to the contrary.
And now it comes out he not only won’t “take it [the fight to be the nominee] to the convention”, he is not even going to continue to press for the “progressive” ideals he wanted in the platform, as is his right to do at the convention.

I just realized that a low voter turnout, or people leaving the “president” line blank, really works in Clinton’s favor. The electoral college is awarded on the percentage of votes cast, right? So not voting, or leaving the line blank, which ends up as the same thing, gives Clinton’s rabid support base the edge, because they WILL show up. No matter how few of them there might be, the methods being used today to drive down the vote all work in Clinton’s favor.
Still, Trump? Who could vote for him?
Talked to my brah yesterday about this election stuff. At one point, one of us said, “Do you realize that every other word in this conversation has been a variation of ‘fuck’?”
